There are several organizations in the German-speaking Europe and South Tyrol, each focusing on different aspects of terminology work and science.

Computerm

Since its founding in 1989 Computerm has acted as an interest group for Swiss institutions dedicated to terminology science and terminology management.

DIT - German Institute for Terminology e. V.

This institute originates from an expert commission for terminology. Today it serves as a competence centre and discussion forum for the DTT (see below)

DTT - German Association for Terminology

The DTT is a German professional association for practicioners involved in terminology science and terminology work. One of its many activities is the organization of a symposion every two years during which current issues in terminology are being discussed.
